Hi, I'm looking to buy a second fob for my Honda Stream. Looking around i see that the fob for the Accord or Civic looks identical to the fob i have at the moment. Does this mean that for my Stream i can buy any fob that looks identical to the one i have? Or does each model have a separate fob?

If each model has a seperate fob how can i be assured that the one i buy is compatible with the Stream?

Many thanx
LOking forward to hearing from you

I recommend that you see your dealer to ensure you get the correct one for your vehicle.

Look at the back of the fob there should be a part number if the part number and button set up is the same i would say its safe to say the fob will work.

Dear saturntech9, thanx so so much for your prompt and exact reply. On the back of my fob it says "battery cr2025". Will this be the battery code or is this the code for the fob itself?

many thanx again
