I have a 2001 Ford mondeo (UK).
Do the rear brakes have drums or discs or both?
I need to know the answers to questions I'm likely to be asked when asking for a brakes repair

Thank you

Hello,

The easiest way to find out is to take a look at the front through the rim you should see a shiny metal surface. Now do the same at the rear if you see the same shiny surface then you have rear disc brakes, if you don't see a shiny surface like the front and you see kind of a rusty looking surface the it is most likely drum.

If still not sure go by your local auto parts store and just ask them if they can tell you either by looking up the brakes for the rear or by going out to look.
