Well on 8/17 I dropped my partner of to work while making a right the steering wheel locked as well as the has pedal and the breaks seems like the entire can turned off so I decided to turn the ignition off waited like a min or 2 turned it back on drove home no more then 2 mins away I notice the van started to shame so I decided to turn it off well at 2:45 while I was getting ready for my appt the van started off nice like usual but then all the sudden the car started making a loud noise it sounded like a lawnmower I got a bit shaken up so I turned around and drove home my partner took the van at 7pm to advanced auto part they checked the engine light came up the spark plug and cables needs changed. They said it should make the sound to away well it didn't I really don't want to g wrt did of the van it's been so reliable up to know we have fixed a few things basically normal wear and tear I just don't have the money to spend on it

First off, there is code that tells you ANYTHING needs to be changed. It merely advised of a specific situation with engine operation and a technician (which Autozone people are not) needs to further diagnose for the actual cause. They likely saw a misfire code and assumed the ignition parts would fix it. I can't diagnose a noise that I can't hear but I definitely suggest you stop driving it until a technician can accurately diagnose the issue.
