Hi, I drive a 2000 Toyota Solara V6 automatic. Recently I was on the freeway and when I stepped on the gas the car wouldn't speed up as fast as usual. The RPM jumped to like 5 and it was still slow in speeding up. I also get this sputter when I start my car and drive for the first 10 minutes and don't know if it is related. My Check engine light flashes and I will be taking it in to the shop this weekend, but just wanted to get an idea from everyone what I should expect.

You can take it to a Advance Auto ro Auto Zone and they will pull the trouble codes for free so you will have an idea of what is wrong. It sounds like a fuel delivery problem.
