When I come to a stop sign and stop the car goes.

When I come to a stop sign and stop the car goes to about 3/4th of the 1 rpm or 1 rpm. As soon as I push on the gas pedal the car sometimes will shut completely off and I but it in park or neutral and turn the ignition key tp start it again?

These symptoms can often be associated with a dirty throttle body and idle air control solenoid. Try cleaning them with carb/choke cleaner. Check for broken/disconnected vacuum hoses as well.
