My 2000 Saab is starting to become difficult to start, in that will not turn over immediately and will make noises like the battery is weak. After moving the shifter around in reverse or pushing down harder on the ignition piece it has been starting. It seems to be needing more of this additional wiggling and retrying, including turn off, push in clutch, etc. Lately and I fear I may not be able to engage it at some point.

The battery is new.

Thank you so much for your help.

CHECK YOUR BATTERY POSITIVE CABLE FROM BATTERY END TO STARTER END CHECK FOR POOR CONDITION, GET IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED, ALSO CHECK CLUTCH SWITCH IF FAULTY BY REMOVING CONNECTOR FORM PEDAL SWITCH & JUMP CONNECTER PINS, MAKE SURE CAR IN IN NUETRAL WHEN STARTING, GOOD LUCK, NOTE IF AFTER ALL THAT & U STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE THEN U WILL NEED A NEW ENGINE ECM, MAY BE FAULTY.
