Cuz it's leaking out. Look for spots on the ground but that usually doesn't help with finding the location of the leak because the oil can run along various parts before it drops to the ground. Look on the engine for wetness. It is common sense that oil only runs down, but a lot of us forget that simple logic, so look for the highest place you find oil on the engine. If it has been blowing around so much that the entire engine is covered, it might be necessary to pressure wash the engine first, then drive it a little, and then look for the leak.
To leak oil that fast, common suspects are the oil pressure sending unit which will be near the oil filter, and a leaking oil filter. Not the filter itself, but the rubber o-ring gasket under it. Be sure the filter is screwed on tightly too. Camshaft seals can pop out but usually you will lose oil a lot faster than in two weeks. Look at the valve cover, but those will leak at a much slower rate.
