My car burns through oil like crazy. I find myself putting a quart or two, depending on how much I've drove, every two weeks. I've heard if you replace the engine, which it may need, that it's best that you replace other engine components as well like the transmission && etc.. I'm just trying to get a ballpark estimate on how much this would cost if it is true

Engine and transmission are 2 different component independent of each other so why would you need to replace the transmission if the engine is bad?

Replacing the pistons rings and valve seals should be sufficient to solve the oil consumption problem.
