Through the firewall? What exactly are you trying to do?

I second that question, why do you want to place a winch cable through the fire wall, or are you refering to a winch remote controller loom?

Assuming the control will be on the driver's side, that's the area you have to come through. Just look for an area that is accessible from both sides of the firewall and get a grommet to use after drilling the hole.
