I have an open circuit error code where the outside temperature should be. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. I have no idea where the sensor is in this Jeep so any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Most likely a disconnected or faulty outside temp sensor.

Thank you for your response. I realize what it is I need to know where to find it so I can see if it is disconnected or if a wire is loose or if I even may have to replace it. I just don't know where to find it on the Jeep.

It should be in front of the radiator.

Hello,

Assuming your symptom is the same as the original post(open circuit in outside temp display), I would start by inspecting the ambient(outside) temp sensor and connector. If it looks intact, you may want to try installing a new sensor. It's located just behind the grille on the right side. Please see the attached picture for more detail.

Let us know if this resolves the issue!
