Wont pick up speed pass 30

My car is drivable but the problem am having is it wont pick up speed pass 30 and I want to know whats the problem The people I let look at it said it a electrical problem and codes need to be reset but when I hooked the device up the codes that needed to be replaced were sensors. Am confused and I dont want to spend alot of money if I dont have to.

Your computer stores codes for sensors you need to write down the codes clear the codes then when light comes back on check codes there will be a lot less codes these are the ones that need adressed.
