Hello,
I am having problems with I think my transmission, On friday I drove my car around and it was running perfectly, with no problems. I changed the transmission fluid and filter later in the day, and add trans-x leak stop. I drained 5 qts of trans fluid, well i went for a very short test drive and everything seemed find, besides the dip stick read a qt low. On the way to work I stopped and bought a qt and added it, that is when my problem started. The car right away started to shake, and after driving it till it got fully warm sweet smelling light gray smoke started coming from the hood, so I knew I should stop driving it. I asked a few friends and they said just too much fluid, drain some and it will be fine. Sadly not the case, I drained 1 and half qts and still shakes badly. To give you the idea, it shakes and kinda jeaks when I first put the car in drive or when I first take off from a full stop. In park and neutral the shaking is light, but still there. Please help, what did I do wrong?

never, never use any additive for leaks. it causes more issues and plays with valve bodies.

have you leveled off the fluid yet???

hopefully, it has not caused permanent damage to the trans
