2000 Holden Astra Air conditioner

My air conditioner seems to only work in the mornings as I turn my car on, but sometimes not even then. The buttons began to work only when pressed several times and now they dont do anything unless its the morning. Could this be a loose wire somewhere? Sometimes air does come from the vents but the fans dont turn on.

If the fan runs with the heater on and not the A/C it will be an A/c problem, is this what it is doing?

Neither the heater or a/c work. The fans will turn on rarely, regardless of which im trying to use

Fan switch or a faulty fan motor would be the most likely fault, look at these first.
