The best thing to do would be to remove the cowl, the piece that the windshield wiper motor mounts to and also it houses the cabin air filter. There are a couple screws on each side and a screw under the filter that you can't see, also you have to unplug the wiper motor on the drivers side. You must remove the wiper arms first (marker their location on the cowl cover and mark them left and right), then remove the plastic cowl cover and then the cowl.
