discovered a coolant leek in the metal tube that runs from the water pump to the heater core. Leaks where this tube branches off and passes under the intake(I replaced that tube last year). I managed to unhook the leaking tube from hoses and the 2 small bolts, pull it out of the water pump. It is completely free. HOWEVER I cant seem to remove the tube from cramped space.. what needs to be removed so I can get the tube free? and the new one in?

the best thing to do would be to remove the cowl, the piece that the windshield wiper motor mounts to and also it houses the cabin air filter.there are a couple screws on each side and a screw under the filter that you can't see, also you have to unplug the wiper motor on the drivers side.you must remove the wiper arms first (marker their location on the cowl cover and mark them left and right),then remove the plastic cowl cover and then the cowl.
