What causes a flapping noise on left rear of Ford f 150 truck when driving down road

Most likely the inner fender well has come loose. This is common especially if you have oversized tires. But over time the clips and screws that hold it in place loosen or fall out and the inner fender rubs the tuire and then starts flapping around.
