I came out to use my car, and when I turned the key, the engine (diesel) barely turned over. AAA to the rescue! Drove the car to my mechanic and after two hours told me that he needs to research the problem.
He narrowed it down to the #2 repay plugged into the interior fuse panel. There was absolutely no drain when he removed the #2 relay, but at this time he has no other ideas.
Can you help?
I'm very mechanically inclined and would love to find the source of the short that the ##2 relay is feeding juice to.
I'm crossing my fingers. Please help! Thank you

These are the circuits that draw from that relay,

Delayed accessory relay

Overhead interior lamp with map lamps

Under hood switch

Glove box switch

Overhead interior switch.

Interior lamp coil.

Check it out and let me know what you find

All correct ken, including the power windows.
Ken, if the circuit is completed when the relay switch is in does this mean there is a short in one of those areas you mentioned (interior lights, or windows)?

Hi Dave, I would check each one of those circuits, lights etc to see if something is staying on?, Also that relay is controlled by the GEM which Ford has had some problems with. If nothing is "ON" try disconnecting the GEM to see if the drain stops.

I added some images to help with our search
