I am having trouble with the heat in my 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe. The heat in the front starts out warm for like 5 seconds and then it turns completely cold but the heat in the back works perfectly fine. Any suggestions on what it could be and how to fix it?

I dont have rear a/c, heat but there has to be a heater control valve on the line going to this rear heater core just like the front, that turns the water off when you want to use the a/c. Vacumn operated.

With the engine hot, running, and the front heat on, feel both heater core hoses. If both are hot, check the blend door. If only one get / stays hot, try flushing the heater core.
