While driving the truck just died. Initially thought it was the fuel pump. Replaced the fuel pump and filter. It would turn over but not start. Code reader said no codes. Checked with multi-meter and started minor tune up and replacing with results. Replaced spark plus, wires, ignition coils, ignition control unit, and crankshaft position sensor. Still no spark from spark plugs. I can hear the fuel pump starting after turning the key. Also I get no dash cluster display unless I connect the code reader. Radio and interior lights does come on when key is on. Battery is good. Last Item I checked is No Z reference at ignition control module. Any help would be very appreciated.

Ok so what do you have for testing? Do you have a digital multi meter and scanner?

Ok just to make sure I am with you on this. You have no spark to the plugs correct? Tell me what have you checked and what have you replaced that you didn't already list. Get back to me so we have a place to start ok.

Correct no spark at spark plugs. Used an inline spark plug light on cyl 3&4 to check both ignition coils. Checked voltage at ignition switch and found red had 12vdc but orange only had 6vdc. In crank position yellow had 12vdc. Rechecked fuses and all are still good. I really appreciate all your help.

Ok could you get me the ohms reading on the coils. There is voltage there so that is good so far. I need ohms reading from + to - and then from + to center (where the coil wire connects) and then - to center, get back to me with that. We will check the cam and crank sensors next but one test at a time ok.
