I have a 2000 C5 Corvette which I just took out of winter storage. When turning real tight at low speed it feels like the rear axle is binding. Some what like a four wheel drive binds on dry pavement when locked in. Where should I start looking?

That is the limited slip clutches chattering. What you need to do is drain the differential oil and when you refill it, add a bottle of friction modifier that is sold at most any auto parts store. It requires a synthetic gear oil 75W90.
