Okay so last fall my heater was working great, now this fall I does not turn on? I really need to know before it starts to get really cold. So can you please tell me what it could be? So I can fix it soon so my baby sister won't freeze to death when I take her places?

Check to see if your temp actuator is working and if heat is going through both hoses that part may be vacuum controlled. You can try pulling hvac fuse inside truck for 60 seconds with key on see if it 'resets if not it may not be getting power which may be the control head.
