How to replace my ciggerate lighter

For safety, remove the fuse for the cig lighter. Remove the lighter by inserting a flat head screwdriver into the sides of the cig socket. It should pry out, if not, you will need to release the metal clips that hold it in place. Once removed, disconnect the two wires that are connected to the rear of the socket. Set aside the old socket and connect the two wires onto the new socket. Push the socket back into place, you should hear and/or feel it lock in. Place the fuse back and you're all set.
