Does it clear up on it's own as it idles? You could have dirty/sticking injectors, you might try some techron in the tank to see if you get satisfactory results. You may need to have the injectors professionally cleaned. Is there a check engine light, or is there a loss of coolant?

I think your on the right track. I recently had the injectors cleaned. It only happens when the temperature is in the single digit or lower range. The service light was on but went out and hasn't come back on. I,m wondering if they messed up the cleaning job. I've not notice any temp increase or coolant loss. I thought I saw a little transmission fluid on the garage floor but didn't see any lately.
