I own a 1999 Jaguar xjs. Rock went through the headlight lens (passenger side inner light - contains 2 light bulbs). I have the new lens. How do I remove the old lens? Appears to somehow pop off. The new lens has 4 what appears to be snap in receptors (plug ins) which accept 4 posts or pins on the headlight assembly. Question is how do i get the old lens off the headlight assembly? Is there an online diagram or video I can refer to?

Your help really appreciated,

if it just has the 4 posts thenit probably just pops out for that. replace the bulbs and make sure your hands don'touch the bulb if they are halogen as it shortens the life tremendously.you can use a scredriver to pop it out but put a rag so you don't damage the body.
