I'm having a hard time taking off the left axle for my 1999 Hyundai Sonata. The CV Boot is really stuck into the transmission. I had try using crow bars and screw drivers to pull out the axle but was unsuccessful. I even rented the axle side hammer but was unable to put it in between the CV boot and transmission to hammer it out. While I was trying to yank the axle off the transmission, it broke leaving the CV boot inside the transmission. Any suggestion of how I could remove the CV Boot is greatly appreciated.

Unfortinuatly the pics are not to clear, but these shafts are only held in with a "C" clip that should release with applied pressure, I am thinking that the spline may be burred or damaged in some way, can you feel any give at all? Is there any rotational play? Not sure if you can see the other end if you remove the other shaft, I am not sure how big the spyder cross is in the diff, you may be able to get a long thin punch past the cross to help knock out the stuck shaft end.
