If the noise occurs only while turning, it is probably a Constant Velocity (CV) joint. You have a total of 4 CV joints (2 per axle or "half shaft"). Check if you have noise turning left and right. Normal repair is to replace the complete half shaft with a new or remanufactured one.

HondaMike is correct. It does sound like a half shaft "AXLE" is bad. Do you have torn CV boots? If you do, then that is where your problem will most likely be.

I agree get the CV inspected, if faulty the best option is re-co change over shafts, which you can replace yourself or get a mechanic to do for you.
