The car doesnt go, no lights are on and it doesnt make any noise

I have a 99 accord v6 and never had a problem. I was driving and all of a sudden I hit gas and it didnt move just kept rolling. When I turn the car off and on its fine but then a few minutes later it happens again. What could this be?

Engine must have stalled with dash indicators not showing.

There was a safety recall on the ignition switch, have it checked.

Do you mean the engine does not respond to throttle pressure?

Its like on a stick shift and u push the cluth in it just revs. Its hard to explain

That is the transmission slipping or not engaging. It could be due low transmission fluid level or a failing transmission due to slipping clutches.
