1999 GMC Suburban chatter and vibration

Truck has 4 wheel drive. In 2 wheel drive, slow acceleration with a tight left or right hand turn the front wheels buck like something is slipping and making noises. When truck wheels are straightening out and speed slowly picks up noise and vibration go away. No symptoms at any other speed.

Check the axle shafts for binding or broken boots where all lube has gone out of therm.

YOU MIGHT ALSO CHECK TO SEE IF THE FRONT DRIVE TRAIN IS "REALLY" DISENGAGING, NOT JUST TAKE IT FOR GRANTED THAT YOU ARE BACK IN 2WD
