I direct shorted the battery with a wrench

I was taking my battery out and when I put the ratchet on the positive terminal it sparked and now my car wont start. Any ideas as to why? I might have grounded it out im not sure but it sparked and now when I go to start it it just clicks

So the battery is good?Have you checked all fuses?Is anything else inop?

THE CLICK IS THE STARTER SELONIOD CHECK THE VOLTAGE ON THE STARTER WIRE WHYLL CRANKING.
