We recently changed the front brake pads and rotors on our durango, we went to bleed the brake lines and it doesnt seem to be working. The brakes hit the floor and the abs and brake light our lit up on the dash. Did we miss something? What do we do now? The front brakes are not working at all now.

Why did you bleed brakes in the first place? Usually changing pads and rotors does not require this.

I take it you have done brake bleeding before? When you put new pads on, you push the caliper piston back into it's housing all the way, which is actually bleeding the line backwards. So no reason to bleed after your done putting on pads.

Thanks. Can you tell me why the brakes still are not working and the lights are on on the dash? A friend of mine changed the pads and rotors for me and now the brakes hit the floor and the only brakes that seem to be working are the rear brakes. Would like to know what he needs to recheck in order to fix.
