No, just clog up fuel filter. Even after it breaks down. Do not worry about the sugar. Sugar basically will not do much at all to the car. It sinks to the bottom of the gas tank, and seldom gets sucked into the engine. And even if it does get sucked up by the fuel pump, very unlikely, the fuel filter is going to stop 99.9% of it. Sugar does not mix with gasoline, and remains a solid. About the worst it can do is to clog up your fuel filter; easily fixed by replacing the filter. I do not know if it can make it to the injectors, but it would hurt those.
