1999 Chevrolet Cheyenne Passenger Door Interior Handle Broke Just Hanging There

The passenger door interior handle broke and is just hanging there, I believe there are pins that can break in there but the problem is the door wont open from the outside either. How do I get in there to fix the door and what do I need to fix it?

you need both handles, inside and outside to start. they are available from a parts store.

as far as opening, you must remove the door panel and move the rods manually
