Well I recently bought a 99 integra ls. It had a cold air intake pipe but a stock air filter taped to it. So I replaced the filter with a cold air filter. I took off the pipe from the intake manifold in order to securely install the filter. Im not sure if I put it back on correctly because I got the check engine light on. I got the code for it (P1457) which means some sort of evap leak. I dont know if it has to do with me messing with the intake or not but I have very poor gas mileage. (Installed air filter same day I bought it so wasnt too sure how gas mileage was before I bought it) any suggestions? Most google searches point to bad o2 sensor but I dont know. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chances are the O2 sensor didn't go bad when you did the work. Were there any sensors on the parts that were still on the vehicle? If so, they will need reinstalled. If I recall correctly, there is a MAF sensor TPS sensor. That should be a part of the system. As far as the evap code, check to see if there are any leaks in the system and that the gas cap is tight.
