The ABS light on the dash the is the airbag light on?

Anytime a error light gets illuminated, it is due an issue within certain components.
It is important to get the error lights taken care of as the component might not function properly when needed.
An illuminated air bag light can cause the airbag to not deploy during a collision. The ABS might not function when it supposed to. Faulty ABS system can even lockup the brakes.

The air bag and the ABS lights can be on due to a sensor being bad or even a loose connection.

First thing to do is to get the vehicle scanned for codes as of why those light are illuminated.
