Can't regulate heat or AC temperature

What device lets you turn heat up or down. Runs wide open hot and wide open on AC. Can't moderate temperature.

There is what is called a blend air door that regulates the temp. It is located near the heater core and attaches (if I remember correctly) to a cable that is attached to the switch in the vehicle. If you follow the cable, it will lead you to the door. Make sure the cable isn't damaged or the door isn't sticking.
