My car is a semi auto. When I drive in automatic, as soon as it reaches 1st and 2nd gear rmp's, it jerks back . What do you think is wrong?

Hi I have a 98 semi automatic prelude but I drive it mostly in auto. When I reach the gears for 1st and 2nd gear the car jerks back. As soon as I stop, it starts all over again.

I replaced the transmission fluid with Lucas no slip and more trans fluid. Do you think it's the 1st and 2nd gear clutch that's broken or needs to be fixed? Or is it the transmission starting to slip?

sounds like an internal trans problem. have a trans guy look at it they normally don't charge for giving an opinion on what is wrong. It could be an electrical problem as well.

Check for trouble codes and let us know what they are.
