On 'colder' days (50 degrees F) my Laser seems to want to turn off when I press the clutch and then the brake. When this happens, and not all the time, the battery light and oil light will come on. If the car is running at say 2,500 rpm's, pressing the clutch & brake will make it bottom out to 0, the two lights will come on and one time I lost power steering. However releasing the clutch brought it back to life and the rpm's regained the normal level. Just the other day, however the car turned off and I had to turn the key to get it started again and I was probably doing about 40 mph at the time. This problem seems to happen as I approach a turn, when I'm apt to brake harder than when I might otherwise. I've checked the fluids and all are at a normal level.

Wedon't have that model in u.S. So check for a wire hitting clutch/brake pedals it may be shorting something out. This is kind of a generic answer so best to have a guy check it locally.
