I absolutely forbade my students from doing this in our auto shop because of liability issues, but besides that it always led to problems with universal joints and control arm bushings. If you insist on doing this modification, the only thing I would consider is called a "drop spindle". The is a spindle that is lower on the knuckle thus raising everything up but keeping the control arms in their original geometry. You absolutely do not want anything that just pushes the control arms down to raise the truck up. That will result in horrendous tire wear and rotten handling even when the alignment numbers are correct when it is sitting motionless on the hoist. I can explain that better if you'd like me to.
