The whole fuel system? Like tank as well? Why do you want to replace the whole system?

First it won't get past the fuel filter so you don't need to replace it. Then you can take your tank down and clean it out. There should be a filter on your fuel pump as well. That is the most I would do ro any pro would do. Replacing the fuel filter which is right by the tank is also a good idea.

Then check the fuel pressure and scan for codes. It should have 60-66 if its agas engine except for a 7.4L that should be 56-62 psi. I'd bet that it would be a fuel filter problem though. Worse case it may be a pump which you would have to pull the tank anyhow and you could wash it out then.
