I have an 93 Audi, had a Anti-freeze leak, tear in the lower radiator hose. Anti-freeze + Air leaked all out completely dry. Car sat for 2 days, as soon as the hose came in, we replaced it. Since then my Ive notice, only while Im parked Idling, my temp gauge will go up 3/4 to hot! My car will idle rough. As soon as I take off driving, it will cool back down. Ive been told it could possibly be the Thermostat, so I have one on order. Also, when coming to a stop, breaking, my car will "sputter" IPMS go down as if the car is going to die, It has a couple of times, mostly it will idle back up, catch itself more less. What could this be caused by? A/C, heat just blows air basically, If I put my air on High, car dies. When I do have it use it thow, a burned smell comes through the vents? As if somethings burning. Help! Thanks in advance!

You will have to ensure that all the air is bleed from the cooling system, run to temp with the heater on and the coolant filler cap off, if you can have the front of the car higher than the rear, as this will aid in allowing air to escape, with the engine a normal temp you should have good heat at the heater, start here.
