I inspected the leak coming between the engine and the transmission maybe a seal bearing. Will it be expensive to go to the shop and how many hours for this. If I do the job do I need a special tool and how do I start it. The car runs but there is some noise and leak. Thanks

If it is trans fluid and coming from between the engine and transmission, chances are the seal in the front pump (input shaft) is bad. If I am correct, the trans needs to come out to replace it. Figure about 6 to 8 hours to do this work and the part will be under 20.00
