Do you have to change both upper and lower sensers or do you have to figure out which one is bad? The car drives but the engine quits while driving down the road. After it cools off it starts again. It will do this many times a day. I ran dianostic codes and it said 02 senser- exhaust gas recirculation- fuel pressure regulater

None of those things will cause stalling. What are the exact code numbers? There is no code for the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel supply system is not monitored for pressure, only for a leak.

Which engine do you have? Stalling when hot is commonly caused by a failing camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor. They become heat-sensitive and will often work again when they cool down.

(Heading out of town to help a friend in his body shop. Will check back tonight).
