1997 Mazda Millenia engine quits

engine keeps quiting sometimes idrive 5 miles or sometimes it,ll go 60 to 1-00 miles before it quits i put in new dist. because it had no spark but it still does the same thing cant bring up any codes so have no idea where to start looking sometimes it wiil start after a few min. sometimes after a day or so

Why don't you try checking the fuel pressure 1st to determine if its within specification.-start here

When it doesn't start, have you checked fuel pump pressure as well as if you are getting spark to the plugs?
