1997 Kia Sportage 4X4 2.0 is having intermittent misfire code PO302. Replaced wires, coil packs, spark plugs and camshaft sensor. Vehicle runs fine until parked for a short time. When restarted, it misfires again. What could it be?

You need to check compression, plug, coil, vacuum leaks around the cylinder and lastly, the injector.

Thank you for the info. What would be an inexpensive and back yard way to check the injectors?

Remove the rail with all 4 attached and see if they hold fuel pressure with the key on.

With the rail away from the engine, crank the motor and see if they spray fuel in a nice pattern. The crank sensor signal is what triggers the injectors.
