I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee 5.2L v8. I just replaced the water pump and serpentine belt, and now when I try to start the car it won't turn over or stay running unless you give it gas. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

does it run good when warm? Double check to make sure you reattached the ground wire at the top of the alt / ac compressor mounting bracket. Also, make sure you didn't by accident remove any vacuum lines. One last thing, I hope you replaced the bypass hose between the pump and intake. If you did, you may have loostened one of the injector wires. Double check that too.

Let me know what you find.
