Where is the transmission stick so I can check the transmission fluid. Do you have a picture of a engine for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee so I can see all the locations of everything for the fluids.

I know this sounds stupid, but this is my daughters car and she has no money for repair. She is taking care of her daughter and her grandson and doing the best she can. She lives 300 miles away from me and is trying to do the best she can to keep her car running. She says the transmission is slipping and did not know where the transmission stick was so she could check the fluid and hopefully all it will need is transmission fluid, can anyone please help me, so I can help her. Thank You Momma girl, this is what my son called me when he was little and still does

You should see it coming up at the rear of the engine on the passenger side.
