Coming out of the firewall behind the a/c control panel, there are four vacuum lines, two white and two black. One black and one white go to opposite sides of what appears to be a valve behind the passenger headlight. The other white one goes to another valve on what appears to be the heater hose. The remaining black one is broken with around 1' of length coming out of the fire wall. Where should it go?

Air only blows out of the defroster vent and will not blow from the dash or floor vents. I'm hoping this broken vacuum line is the cause.

Thank you.

That is the cause. Chances are the one that was broken is the supply hose from the engine.

Removed the dog house, looked around and found the supply line hanging off the side of the engine. Repaired the connection and the vents are working properly now! Thank you for the helpful input!
