car made boom noise like something snap then i heard a grinding sound i got out to look and my rims were scraped from the inside there was a brown thick liquid that came out and three washer looking rings fell out now the car makes a loud noise when i put it in gear and hit the gas.What could this be?

sounds like an axle has failed. have it checked
