interchangable engines

i need to know can i interchange a olds aurora 4.0 into a cadilac deville of the same year and do i need to change computers also

althought the 4.0 lookssimilar to the 4.6 you probably could change it. you would also need to change the computer and possibly the torque converter as well. That s'due to different balancing characteristics between the engines.
