I have a 1997 Buick Regal that I'm told there is nothing wrong with. It has been hooked up to computer diagnosis twice. However, the car stalls at stop lights/signs on occasion and often has the Anti-Lock light, traction off light and Service Vehicle Soon light come on once reaching speed of 30+ mph. Do you have any ideas?

There are 4 code types that the computer can store. "B" body, "C" chassis "P" powertrain and "U" communications.

Most autoparts stores only read "P" codes, ABS is a chassis code.

Ther are hard and soft codes, but if the check engine light is on, it should store a codes in PCM.

Make sure the shop can read all 4 codes.
