The Alternator went bad in the 1996 Isuzu Rodeo, and a mechanic friend of ours, who has been working on cars for quite some time, replaced it. We went to jump the battery and get the engine to start, and the car alarm kept going off as soon as the battery terminals were hooked up. The fuse for the alarm system was even removed, and the alarm still kept going off. The alarm system is preventing the battery from charging and the car from starting all together. What can we do? We really don't have the money to place it in a shop for something we may be able to do ourselves.
